Transportation
The Plateau people had access to many natural waterways. Therefore, people built canoes for traveling in waterways. There are different types of canoes, such as "Ktunaxa Girls with Canoe", "Model of Sturgeon-nosed canoe", "Ktunaxa Dugout Canoe" and "Mother and Baby in Sturgeon-nosed canoe". Other than that, horses improved travelling from the 1730s, too. Horses and Dogs were used to pack animals and for hunting. During the winter time, plateau people uses snowshoes to travel through deep snow. |
